Been reading about Alzheimer’s—an increasingly common disease in aging societies. First noticed it on my daily email thingy from the NY Times and then saw a link to alz.org on tv. It’s sad to see a person gradually lose touch with the world around him.

The more instant everything becomes, the less patient or tolerant we become of others. As Grady writes in the article, “Basically, just tango on. And hope somebody will do the same for you when your time comes. Unless the big breakthrough happens first.” (click for full article)
