almost got hit

by this guy who pulled out from a side street after I left the bank. He pulled out so quick across 3 lanes I thought for sure there was gonna be an accident. Slammed on my brakes and HONKED. Yeah, and all I heard was the sound of screeching tires and my heart thumping. That guy stuck his head out of the window and apologized. Woman in another car looked over at me, pointed at the kid and shook her head while I was recovering from that adrenaline rush. I didn’t need lunch anymore. I’m just thankful that no one got hurt.

Graduation/farewell party for a group of fellow s’poreans at my place ended an hour ago. Great malay food and great time of fellowship. It was fun to catch up with everyone and encouraging to hear what the Lord is doing in people’s lives. The s’porean population in g’ville is definitely dwindling. Everyone’s graduating and moving home.

Signed my contract and wired my deposit to the shipping company today. Things are moving pretty quickly. I gotta start packing and decide what stays and what goes.

Someone reminded me that I’ve been here almost 1/4 of my life. Can’t believe I’ve been here for 5 1/2 years…
