“moving home. my mum commanded me home. haha.”

I thought that was a pretty funny response from a friend who’s moving back to S’pore fr Aussie land. I’m about to move home soon, for good reasons. And no, I didn’t get fired nor did my mom command me to move home. It’s not uncommon for us Asians to move home to be with our families after being out there for a while. It’s just hard to explain to others why our parents or family usually comes first…
